About Me!

*Lumos* Hi I'm Ashley! For starters, a few of my hobbies are cooking, reading, playing tennis, spending time with family and friends, all that sort of stuff. I'm a pretty open minded person and extremely soft-hearted... well, in some situations. I love reading books and finding quotes or just general themes that I can abide by in my own life. Speaking of books, I am obsessed with all that is Harry Potter and Divergent! Harry Potter is basically my childhood, with its magic and eternal love and friendship... basically everything you want in life. So, this is a forewarning that I tend to talk about these books... a lot. Okay, I think I seem to be straying from my 'About Me' so I will continue talking about myself... wow that sounded really conceited. As a student, I have high expectations of myself. I believe in working my absolute hardest because even if it seems annoying and tiring at the moment, it will definitely pay off long term. My favorite subjects in school are definitely math and English. I love math because the answer is so finite and so easily logical in every aspect. I've loved math since as long as I could remember. In contrast, English and I had a bad past with one another but I've grown to love it now. I love being able to express myself through my writing. I love the idea of being able to manipulate seemingly simple words and letters into something that evokes true passion and meaning. I hope to have a book published in a later future. Yet, that really seems to be the only sure decision I have with the future as I still am unsure as to what I want to do for the rest of my life. I am hoping that this next year I will find myself and be able to say, "I want to be ____." I guess I'll just have to "diverge" my mind for awhile. (That was a punny joke for myself). I think I have sufficiently overwhelmed you with my About Me for now, haha! *Nox*
